Zernote is an AI system for discovery. It gathers interviews, notes, and scattered signals into one structure, then helps you decide the next step. Not another notes app. Not a transcription dump. This page connects your AI client to that structure. Pick a client. Sign in once. Ask about your research in chat.

Add Zernote in Claude Directory Or add as custom connector

Open the Zernote page in Claude Directory and click Connect.
Sign in to Zernote and Approve access.
In a new chat: [+] → Connectors → turn Zernote on.

Claude.ai, Desktop, Cowork. Free plan: one custom connector.
Team / Enterprise: an Owner adds the connector first. Members then Connect.

ChatGPT

Open https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Security (Settings → Security and login). Turn on Developer mode.
Go to https://chatgpt.com/plugins. Create a new plugin.
Name: Zernote. Connection: Server URL. URL: Auth: OAuth. Confirm the risk checkbox. Click Create.
Click Sign in with Zernote and approve access.
If the page stays blank after login, open https://chatgpt.com/ and start a new chat.
Every chat: click + under the input and select Zernote before you send. If you skip this, ChatGPT answers without tools.

Leave Advanced OAuth settings alone unless ChatGPT asks.
Needs Developer mode (web). Workspace admins may need to allow it.

Gemini

Consumer Gemini has no paste-URL custom connector. Custom MCP is Gemini Enterprise only (admin setup).

On free or consumer Gemini, use Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor instead.

In Google Cloud open your Gemini Enterprise app. Go to Data stores, then Create data store.
Search Custom MCP Server. Add MCP server.

Token URL: https://zernote.com/oauth/token
Register an OAuth client for Gemini Enterprise. Paste Client ID and Secret. Scopes: folders:read interviews:read transcripts:read search:read notes:write.
Authorize, create the data store, attach it to the app, enable the connector in chat.
